2008 Campaign

A voter casts an absentee ballot using an electronic voting machine during early voting October 1, 2008, in Toledo, Ohio. The "no fault" absentee voting allows any registered Ohioan to vote anytime between now and the close of polls on Nov. 4. In the past, voters could only cast early ballots if they were disabled, out of town on election day, an emergency response worker, very elderly or in prison awaiting possible conviction for a felony.
