YES campaign leader Jane Rosser, second from left, celebrates with Janet Ballweg, left, and Dr. Dafina Lazarus Stewart, second from right, after the counting of the provisional ballots and learning that both ordinances 7905 and 7906 were approved Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at the Wood County Board of Elections in Bowling Green, Ohio. The battle lines for the Bowling Green campaign were drawn on Aug. 17,2009, when the city council heard earnest testimony, pro and con, from dozens of citizens, and then approved the two ordinances by votes of 7-0 and 6-1. The measures add sexual orientation and gender identity as categories covered by local anti-discrimination laws_ one deals with housing, the other with access to public facilities and employment by businesses and schools.
