The Cost of War

Lance Cpl. Timothy M. Bell Jr., 22, died while riding in an amphibious assault vehicle that ran over a roadside bomb in the Euphrates River valley, killing 14 Marines, including nine from Lima Company based in Columbus, Ohio. Family and friends gathered Sunday, August 14, 2005, to pay their respects during a funeral service at Lakota East High School.
